Start date: Term 1, 2027 - January 2027
Employment Status: Full-time continuing
Salary:$86,600 - $147,048 (pending experience - includes Highly Accomplished (HAT) and Lead Teacher (LT) salary scale)

What we are looking for:
Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of Shalom College in the position of Learning Support Teacher. This is a full-time continuing position to commence in Term 1, 2027.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive education and enable equitable access, participation and achievement for diverse learners in the secondary curriculum through expert support, collaboration and high-impact teaching. They will apply strong knowledge of legislation, including the Disability Standards for Education (2005) and NCCD, and evidence-based practice to support student outcomes and effective case management. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide expert advice on differentiation and adjustments for learning.
- Develop, implement and review Individual Curriculum Plans (ICP) and Personalised Learning Plans (PLP).
- Assist in identifying students requiring support using data analysis, consultation and observation.
- Coordinate or contribute to case management processes with parents, teachers and external agencies and ensure timely and accurate NCCD documentation.
