Role description
The Deputy Principal at Millicent North Primary School plays a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the Principal to drive school improvement, enhance student learning outcomes, and foster a positive, inclusive school culture. The successful applicant will provide educational and strategic leadership, supporting the development and implementation of whole-school initiatives, curriculum and assessment practices, and staff performance and wellbeing. Key responsibilities include fostering strong relationships with students, staff, and families, ensuring effective behaviour management and wellbeing practices, and supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning programs. The Deputy Principal will also contribute to the school's community partnerships, administration, and compliance with departmental requirements, and will model the values and high professional standards of Millicent North Primary School.
