The Role
The Desktop Publisher contributes to the delivery of high‑quality learning materials for the School of Isolated and Distance Education (SIDE) by producing professional print and online publications that support teaching and learning across K–12 distance education programs. The role is responsible for creating, formatting and preparing master copies using advanced desktop publishing software, ensuring materials meet SIDE’s design standards and are suitable for both print and digital distribution.
Working collaboratively with writers, editors and curriculum teams, the Desktop Publisher refines draft content, resolves formatting issues and provides technical advice to support the development of engaging and accessible resources.
