This is a permanent part-time (0.38FTE) position commencing as soon as possible

Harmony Primary School (PS) commenced 2011 as an Independent Public School and in partnership with their School Board will continue to build a team of teachers and support staff who are committed to professional excellence in education. Harmony PS is located south of Perth in the housing estate of Harvest Lakes in southern Atwell and currently has 478 enrolments.

The Role

The Cleaner, under the general supervision of the Cleaner in Charge, is responsible for a range of internal and external cleaning duties. This includes maintaining carpets and hard floor surfaces, cleaning toilets, furniture, fittings, and windows, as well as handling tasks like dusting and rubbish removal. Vacation cleaning duties involve activities such as stripping and sealing vinyl floors, shampooing carpets, and pressure cleaning verandas.

The Cleaner is also responsible for reporting faults, maintenance issues, and incidents to the designated supervisor while ensuring that schools are cleaned and maintained in compliance with Department and occupational safety standards.
