Role description
Position Purpose
The Leader of Student Care is responsible for managing student care processes and communication related to the same across the College.
The role provides authoritative and instructional leadership to House Leaders, teachers, support staff and students. It assumes professional capabilities consistent with ‘Highly Accomplished’ and/or ‘Lead’ Australian Professional Standards for Teachers descriptors developed by the Australian Institute of Teachers and School Leadership, although accreditation at this level is not a requirement.
The leadership and direction provided by the Leader of Student Care will be consistent with;

Position
Permanent teaching role plus 2 year Leader of Student Care contract (renewal subject to successful performance).
