Teacher - Education Support

We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Support Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Coolbellup Learning Centre is a specialist education support school providing high-quality teaching and learning programs for students with disabilities and complex learning needs from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Our students present with a diverse range of diagnoses, including intellectual disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other high support needs. We are committed to creating engaging, inclusive and personalised learning environments that enable every student to achieve meaningful progress and reach their full potential.

Through small class sizes and a highly collaborative team approach, we deliver individualised programs focused on communication, independence, academic achievement, social development and functional life skills. Evidence-based teaching practices underpin all aspects of our work, ensuring learning programs are responsive to each student's unique strengths and needs. Students have access to targeted programs that promote communication, self-regulation, safety awareness and independence, creating pathways for success both at school and in the broader community.
