Role description
Ohana College is a growing Independent Secondary School that provides special assistance to students who have disengaged from mainstream education. Our purpose-built campus at Meadowbrook offers a supportive and innovative environment where students can re-engage, learn, and thrive.
We’re seeking Casual / On-Call Teachers to join our dedicated team in Term 4 2026. This role suits teachers who are passionate about making a difference and who enjoy flexibility — including those looking to slow their careers down slightly or semi-retired teachers wanting to stay connected to education in a meaningful way.
What We Offer:
- Supportive and collegial team culture.
- Competitive casual rates.
- Free onsite parking.
- Access to Employee Assistance Program and Fitness Passport.
- Opportunities for ongoing professional growth.
About You:
- QCT registration (full or provisional).
- Flexible and engaging teaching style with a relationship-focused approach.
- Experience or interest in supporting at-risk or diverse learners.
- Resilient, professional, and student-centred.
If you’re ready to make a real impact in a flexible teaching role, we’d love to hear from you.

Please submit your resume and a short cover letter outlining your experience and interest in working with disengaged youth.
