Role description

St Patrick's College, Strathfield is a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice tradition, committed to educating young people through excellence in learning, faith formation, and wellbeing. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly capable, permanent full-time Primary Teacher (Stage 3) to join our college from Term 1, 2027.

We have a tremendous opportunity for an experienced and dedicated primary school educator adept at planning, teaching and critically reflecting on the effectiveness of education programs that develop literacy and numeracy across Key Learning Areas. 

You will be committed to the achievement of excellence as a classroom teacher, demonstrating thorough content knowledge, effective pedagogy and classroom management, and strong collaboration skills.

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate you satisfy all of the following selection criteria:

Essential Criteria

  • A working understanding of, and commitment to the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition.
  • Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.
  • Primary teaching qualifications with NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW. 
  • Demonstrated excellence as a Stage 3 classroom practitioner.
