Role description

We are seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic educator to join our College as an English Teacher. The successful applicant will have a passion for literature, language and learning, and a commitment to achieving exceptional outcomes for students.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher to inspire a love of reading, writing and critical thinking in students across Years 7–12. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering engaging and innovative learning experiences that challenge and support students to achieve their personal best.

This is a Permanent Full-Time teaching position commencing 27 January 2027.

The English Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs within the English department, supporting students to develop strong literacy, communication and analytical skills.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Faculty and College, the successful applicant will contribute to curriculum development, assessment practices, student achievement initiatives and the broader co-curricular life of the College.

The successful applicant will be an excellent classroom practitioner with strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to evidence-informed practice and the ability to inspire students to become confident and capable learners.
