Victory Lutheran College is seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our Primary School as Director of Learning – Primary.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educational leader who is passionate about teaching excellence, curriculum innovation and building the capacity of others. Working closely with the Head of Primary and College Leadership Team, you will provide strategic and instructional leadership across the Primary School, driving high-quality teaching, evidence-informed practice and improved student outcomes.

 

Position Details

  • Fixed-term leadership appointment (2027-2029) with a protected ongoing 1.0 FTE teaching position. 
  • 0.7 FTE leadership allocation and 0.3 FTE teaching allocation.
  • Position of Responsibility: Category D, Level 2. 
  • Leadership allowance commensurate with experience and expertise.

 

About the role

The Director of Learning – Primary provides strategic and instructional leadership for teaching and learning across the Primary School. Leading curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, reporting and professional learning, you will play a key role in fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement while ensuring high-quality learning experiences for every student.
