Role description

Accounts Payable Officer

St Paul's College welcomes applications from highly organised and detail-oriented finance professionals who are committed to delivering accurate, responsive and professional financial administration services.

The Opportunity 

  • Permanent Staff Member
  • ESO Grade 3, $73,425 – $78,445 per annum, pro-rata for part-time
  • 22.5 -30 hrs per week (by negotiation), 45 weeks per year (0.56 – 0.75 FTE)
  • Commence asap or by negotiation

The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions and the provision of high-quality financial administration support to the College. The role ensures the effective management of creditor accounts, invoice processing, payment administration and financial record keeping, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislative, audit and College requirements.

Working collaboratively with staff, suppliers and members of the Finance and Administration teams, the Accounts Payable Officer provides responsive customer service, supports the integrity of financial systems and processes, and contributes to the efficient operation of the College's finance function. The role also provides administration support across the broader Finance team, including assistance with Accounts Receivable and other operational priorities as required.
