Role description

12-month contract full-time FTE 1.0 position commencing January 2027

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle/Upper Primary School Teacher to join our dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, delivering innovative lessons, and inspiring students to reach their full potential. 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver effective lessons that cater to the diverse learning styles of middle/upper primary students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a well-rounded curriculum that aligns with educational standards.
  • Establish strong communication channels with parents and guardians to keep them informed about students' academic and personal development.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and events.
