Role description


 

We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during Term 4, 2026 and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Our School

West Northam Primary School (PS) is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to join our amazing team.

Northam is a vibrant regional centre, just 50 minutes from Midland, with GROH accommodation available for teachers. As a Country Teaching Program school, West Northam PS teachers receive an additional allowance of over $8,000 per year.

Our motto, Belong, Respect and Learn, reflects our commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school community. We have a strong Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework and have commenced whole-school training in the Berry Street Education Model. New teachers are supported through mentoring from our experienced early childhood and senior team leaders, with comprehensive professional learning and resources to support the implementation of whole-school programs and Teaching for Impact strategies. Our evidence-based literacy and numeracy programs include Seven Steps Writing, PLD Phonics/Spelling, MiniLit Sage and Top Ten Maths.
