Role description


We are seeking to establish a pool of Pathways and Transition Support Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2026 and up to the end of the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Newton Moore Education Support Centre (ESC) is an Independent Public School nestled in the thriving and idyllic coastal City of Bunbury, WA. The Centre is specifically designed to meet the needs of Years 7 to 12 students with intellectual disabilities or autism with high needs. We offer a caring, respectful, small school environment where all students participate and actively engage in all facets of school life.

We plan with the child at the centre, with families and young people, through Individual Education Plans (IEP’s) and Person Centred Plans. We differentiate our learning through tiered responses and collaborative planning. Our learning is delivered through strong relationships and structured routines with clear, taught expectations. We create safe learning spaces with tiered supports and trained staff to build student academic, social and pastoral needs.
