Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistant - Special Needs for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Riverside Education Support Centre (ESC) is a centre of excellence for the education and advancement of students from Kindergarten to Year 6 with specific learning difficulties. The Role
Under limited supervision, Education Assistants would provide support and advice to schools and teachers on the management program of students at risk under supervision of the Psychologist in Charge or relevant professional. Suitable applicants would maintain records regarding implementation of behaviour management plans to assess how educational programs fit in with the overall educational outcomes of the student.
