LEADER OF LEARNING – SCIENCE

Coordinator 2 position 

This position is internally & externally advertised.

Successful candidates will commence in January 2027.

 

SELECTION CRITERIA

Faith Leadership and Catholic Identity

  • Demonstrated commitment to the mission, vision and values of Catholic education, with the ability to lead and model Gospel-centred practice in learning and teaching.
  • Capacity to support and promote the Catholic Identity of the College through pedagogical leadership, faith formation and inclusive practices that are consistent with the charisms of Nano Nagle and Marcellin Champagnat.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Trinity Leadership Team to integrate the College’s Vision for Learning.

Leadership of Learning

  • Proven ability to lead high-quality learning and teaching practices that improve student outcomes through challenging, connecting, engaging and inclusive pedagogical practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pedagogical leadership, including planning, implementation and evaluation aligned with College priorities.
  • Capacity to use evidence-based strategies to support differentiation, inclusive education and contemporary pedagogical practices aligned with the College’s school-wide pedagogy.
  • Demonstrated ability to observe classroom practice, provide evidence-based feedback and engage in instructional coaching that enhances teacher effectiveness and improves student learning outcomes.
  • Capacity to lead the implementation and review of curriculum, assessment and teaching programs that align with NESA requirements, College priorities and the Vision for Learning.
