Role description

HSIE Teacher, Nagle College Blacktown
Nagle College, Blacktown South is seeking a passionate and dedicated HSIE Teacher to join our welcoming, faith-filled learning community on a temporary full-time basis until 19 July 2027, covering a period of parental leave.
This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of people, places, societies and the world around them. You will join a collaborative and supportive teaching team committed to engaging learning, academic growth and the development of every student.
New graduates and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will
Inspire curiosity and a love of learning through engaging and contemporary HSIE lessons
Demonstrate strong knowledge of HSIE curriculum, assessment and teaching practices
Create a positive, inclusive and appropriately challenging learning environment
Differentiate teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of students
Use student data and evidence to inform teaching and support continuous improvement
Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues
Work collaboratively and contribute actively to the wider College community
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
