Details: The Education Directorate is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced professional for the role of Director, Workforce Strategy.

The Director, Workforce Strategy is responsible for the development and implementation of the Education Directorate’s workforce strategy as well as a range of key workforce reform programs to ensure that ACT public schools and the Education Support Office have a high-performing workforce that meets the current and future demands of the ACT public education system.

The Director plays a key role in aligning the workforce with the delivery of the Education Directorate’s strategic goals. This includes analysing workforce data to forecast future needs, developing attraction and retention strategies, and ensuring the right skills are in place to meet current and future needs. As part of the People Strategy section, the Director will contribute to the optimisation of workforce planning, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
