TAS Assistant – Food Technology & Textiles
Part-Time |18 hours per week (to be worked flexibly based on class requirements)

Term Time Only (38 weeks per year)

At MLC School, we are committed to educating and inspiring young women to be fearless thinkers with moral courage and compassion. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive TAS Assistant – Food Technology & Textiles to support our vibrant TAS Department in the Senior School.

 

About the Role

This is a hands-on support role that provides exceptional service to teachers and students by ensuring Food Technology and Textiles practical lessons are prepared, resourced, and ready for learning. The successful candidate will assist with stock management, ordering, purchasing, equipment maintenance, food preparation support, and the day-to-day organisation of TAS learning spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, order and maintain food ingredients, textiles materials, equipment and resources.
  • Prepare practical learning spaces and ensure lessons are appropriately resourced.
  • Manage stock levels, receive deliveries and maintain accurate records.
  • Support food handling and storage processes in line with school procedures.
  • Maintain clean, safe and organised kitchens, preparation rooms and textiles areas.
