Role description

Georges River Grammar School is seeking to employ an exemplary English / History Teacher on a temporary full-time basis to join our Secondary School Team. The position commences towards Term 4 (2026) and concludes at the end of Term 1 (2027).

Key Selection Criteria

The School has an exemplary Humanities program and is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and professional English / History teacher to join our team.

To be successful in this role it is desirable you have:

  • Teaching experience across Stages 4, 5 (English / History) and 6 English (the ability to teach Stage 6 English Standard is preferred)
  • Confidence with writing
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • The ability to motivate students and promote a love of learning
  • Ability to collaborate with your colleagues
  • The flexibility to work with a range of student abilities
