ABOUT THE POSITION

Cranbrook School is seeking an outstanding and experienced educational leader to join the Junior School as Deputy Head of Junior School – Teaching & Learning (P–Y6).

This is a significant leadership opportunity for an experienced primary educator who is passionate about high-quality teaching and learning, curriculum development, assessment and the ongoing development of teachers.

Working closely with the Head of Junior School and the wider Junior School leadership team, the Deputy Head – Teaching & Learning will provide strategic and operational leadership across the curriculum from Pre-school to Year 6. The role will ensure that teaching, learning, assessment and reporting practices are aligned with Cranbrook’s educational philosophy, NESA and International Baccalaureate requirements, and evidence-driven practice.

The successful candidate will be an exemplary educator and collaborative leader who can inspire staff, engage students and parents, and contribute meaningfully to the continued development of the Junior School.
