Role description

The Central Coast Steiner School is a thriving, progressive independent Kindergarten to Year 12 school with nearly 400 students. We have a beautiful bushland campus with outstanding facilities, and we are located close to some of the most exquisite beaches on the Central Coast. The School fosters an atmosphere where students develop into intellectually curious individuals and compassionate, socially responsible global citizens.

We are seeking an accomplished English Teacher to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity commencing Term 1, 2027.

The successful applicant will be an engaging English teacher who demonstrates creativity and rigour in the delivery of curriculum and who can foster warm, supportive relationships with students.

  • Qualifications and/or commitment to professional development in Steiner Education
  • Demonstrate knowledge, competence and confidence in teaching English
  • Outstanding rapport with students

  • Programming, lesson planning, assessment and reporting
  • Create engaging and effective instructional materials and resources
  • Modifying teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
