Role

Gordon Primary School is seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic educator to join our school council-operated Outside School Hours Care team. Working under the direction of the OSHC Coordinator/Nominated Supervisor, the OSHC Educator contributes to a safe, inclusive and engaging program for primary school-aged children before school, after school and, where rostered, during Vacation Care and student-free days.

The educator works directly with children and supports their wellbeing, learning, agency and enjoyment through play, leisure, creative experiences, physical activity, quiet options and daily routines. Practice will be informed by the National Quality Standard, the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, Department policy, the service philosophy and Gordon Primary School policies.
