Selection Criteria

1. Demonstrated knowledge of the Victorian Disability Inclusion reforms, Disability Inclusion Profile (DIP) process and relevant Department policies.

2. Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with students presenting with complex learning, behavioural, social and emotional needs.

3. Highly developed organisational and case management skills, including the ability to coordinate meetings, manage timelines and prepare high-quality       documentation.

4. Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with families, staff and external professionals

5. Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

6. Demonstrated commitment to inclusive education and improving educational outcomes for students with disability.

7. Demonstrated evidence of prior work in the Disability and Inclusion environment

Role

The Disability Inclusion (DI) Teacher supports the implementation of the Victorian Government's Disability Inclusion reforms by coordinating the

Disability Inclusion Profile (DIP) process and assisting the school to provide effective educational programs for students with disability and additionalneeds.

This is a non-classroom teaching position with a primary focus on coordinating Disability Inclusion processes, supporting students with complex learning and behavioural needs, andworking collaboratively with staff, families and external professionals to ensure students receive appropriate adjustments, support and Disability Inclusion funding.
