Victory Lutheran College is seeking an outstanding educator to join our Secondary School as a Pastoral Care Leader and Classroom Teacher.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about student wellbeing, restorative practice and fostering positive relationships with young people and their families. As a key leader within our Secondary School, you will help shape a culture where students feel known, supported and challenged to flourish.

Working closely with students, families, teachers and College leaders, the Pastoral Care Leader provides year-level leadership for student wellbeing, behaviour, belonging and pastoral care, while continuing to teach within their subject area. The role combines meaningful leadership with classroom practice, creating opportunities to influence both individual students and the wider school community.

 

Position Details

  • Secondary School leadership position.
  • Ongoing teaching position with a fixed-term Position of Responsibility.
  • Category D, Level 2 leadership allowance.
  • Release time provided to undertake leadership responsibilities.

 

About the role

The Pastoral Care Leader provides year-level leadership for student wellbeing, behaviour, belonging and pastoral care within the Secondary School. Working closely with students, families and staff, you will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive year-level culture while supporting students to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
