Role description
Faculty Leaders provide leadership of their respective faculty, including curriculum and learning, teachers and pedagogy, and facilities and resources. Faculty Leaders play a critical role in ensuring the College offers a high-quality and contemporary learning offering that supports students to achieve personal excellence and readiness for future study, work and life.
A time allowance of approximately 0.4FTE is provided to fulfil the responsibilities of the position.
- Oversee the curriculum, teaching and learning for Exploring Identities & Futures, Activating Identities & Futures, and VET in School subjects across Years 7-12.
- Monitor the progress of students regarding SACE Identities & Futures requirements, intervening as necessary.
- Lead and oversee the Australian Business Week program for Year 10.
- Oversee existing and develop future opportunities for VET in School programs.
- Identify and develop relationships with industry and business partners for student internships.
- Work with the Careers and VET Coordinators in supporting events such as career expos and course counselling
