About the Opportunity

Our School invites applications from an enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Technologies to join our vibrant Technologies faculty. We welcome applications from teachers with experience and qualifications in Food Technology, Design and Technology and /or Textiles Technology, or a combination of these areas.

This role is permanent full time commencing in Term 1 2027. 

  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Food Technology, Design and Technology and/or Textiles Technology across a range of stages, with Stage 6 experience highly regarded, but not essential. 
  • Create practical, hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, experimentation, inquiry and problem solving. 
  • Apply effective teaching strategies and contemporary pedagogical practices that maximise student engagement and achievement. 
  • Integrate digital technologies and industry-relevant skills to enrich student learning. 
  • Demonstrate a commitment to pastoral care and supporting the academic, social and emotional wellbeing of young women.
