About the Opportunity
We invite applications from enthusiastic final-year university students to join our School as part of our Teacher Internship Program. This internship is designed for those passionate about education and eager to gain practical experience in a supportive school environment.
We are welcoming applications across subject areas, with particular interest in:
- Religious Education
The program will commence in Term 1 2027 with a commitment to work one day per week during the school term.
- Paired with a mentor, you will gain hands-on experience in teaching in your specialism, working alongside experienced educators.
- Participation in professional learning and contribution to the life of the school through extracurricular and pastoral care programs.
- Development of your teaching practice in line with the Loreto Normanhurst Student Growth Model.
The Ideal Candidate
- Enrolment in a Secondary Education University Degree program (final year of Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching).
- Conditional Teacher Accreditation with NESA (eTAMS) is required.
- Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
- Able to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students.
