Role description

Position Details: 
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our College. This full-time, ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2027, offers an exciting opportunity to nurture students’ faith, learning and growth while contributing to the life and mission of our College.
Reporting to the Head of Learning Area – Religious Education, you will be a passionate, dynamic and committed Religious Education Teacher who inspires students to explore their faith and values. You will bring creativity, enthusiasm and purpose to the classroom, delivering the Religious Education curriculum in ways that are engaging, relevant and meaningful, while fostering curiosity, reflection and a genuine commitment to learning.

Key responsibilities as a Religious Education Teacher include:
•    The ability to teach Religious Education to years 7 - 10 students and Religion and Life General to years 11 and 12 students.
•    The ability to teach Religion and Life ATAR to years 11 and 12 students would be advantageous.
•    The ability to be innovative in current teaching methodologies, keeping up to date with current pedagogical trends in Religious Education. 
•    The ability to effectively manage a Pastoral Care Group (PCG).
•    The ability to work collaboratively to build rapport with students, parents and all College employees to develop respectful, inclusive and positive working relationships.
