Role description
John Therry Catholic College is a Catholic co-educational school situated in Rosemeadow in the city of Campbelltown and part of the Diocese of Wollongong. Established by the Marist Brothers the College maintains a strong Marist charism, tradition and affiliation with Marist Ministries. The College provides a wide curriculum to approximately 1040 students as we strive for academic success while offering many sporting, cultural and extracurricular opportunities. Our motto, Recta Sapere – (to know what is right) is lived throughout the College as we develop young people who will make a positive contribution to our community and continue to make a difference in an ever-changing world.
Various temporary full time or part time positions commencing 28 January 2027 until 20 December 2027. The successful applicants will support the needs of diverse learners in a mainstream setting.
The role of the Diverse Learning Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA
- Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
- Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
- Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
- Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in KLA(s).
- Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
