Join our team as a Finance Secretary at Townsville's Prestigious all girls' College!

St Margaret Mary's College, Hyde Parkis seeking a highly organised, detail-oriented and finance-focused Finance Officer to join the College. The College is open to considering both full-time and part-time applicants for this position.

Reporting to the Principal and Leadership Team, the Finance Officer will play an important role in the day-to-day financial operations of the College. The position will have a strong focus on accounts payable and receivable, purchasing, banking and cash management, student fee administration, reconciliations, financial reporting and budget support, as well as assisting with financial claims, audit preparation, compliance and statutory requirements.

The successful applicant will ideally have previous experience in a finance, accounts or financial administration role, A sound understanding of financial processes, strong attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to manage confidential financial information are essential.

The successful applicant will also demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and a proactive approach to managing financial responsibilities and deadlines.
