The Role

As the Head of the Mathematics Learning Area, the successful applicant is responsible for providing educational leadership across the learning area and the college. The role involves ensuring that the College’s core instructional framework (AVID) is reflected in all teaching and learning programs and evident in every classroom. The successful applicant will be required to lead curriculum planning, implementation and review, use student achievement data to drive improvement, and support and develop staff through mentoring and instructional leadership.

As a key member of the college’s Senior Leadership Team the successful applicant will ideally lead college improvement initiatives aligned with the college Business Plan, promote positive relationships with students, families and the wider community, and manage human, physical and financial resources effectively
