Role description

 About the Opportunity 

Due to increasing demand and growth we have exciting opportunities for experienced Primary School teachers to join St Columba College to start in Term 1, 2027. As a teacher at St Columba College your purpose is to work collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, parents/caregivers and others as applicable to facilitate positive learning by students and engage in educational reform.

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Apply curriculum knowledge and teaching methods which facilitate successful learning.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to uphold and contribute to the Anglican and Catholic ethos of the College.

  • Plan and execute a comprehensive learning program in line with Australian Curriculum.

  • Demonstrate best practice in teaching and learning and remain current in knowledge and application and update/adjust practice to achieve same.

  • Establish positive and effective relationships with students. 

 

About You: 

You’ll need: 

  • Current Teacher Registration in South Australia and relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience.

  • High level interpersonal skills to interact positively with the school community and be a positive role model and professional representative.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Willingness to actively and positively uphold and contribute to the culture and ethos of the School 

The successful candidates will be required to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and RRHAN.
