Role description

Position Details:
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Deputy Principal – Middle School contributes to the College’s vision, culture and strategic direction, fostering a community where every student is seen, supported, and encouraged to flourish. Providing key leadership for the wellbeing, faith development, and academic achievement of students in Years 10-12, the Deputy Principal – Middle School works in partnership with students, families, and staff to cultivate a supportive, inclusive, and faith-centred learning community.

Position Description: 
Full-time, fixed-term position for ten (10) year for the period 1/01/2027 – 31/12/2036.

Selection Criteria: 
Essential
The successful applicant will have:
•    A 4-year teaching qualification
•    Accreditation for Leadership in Catholic Schools
•    Leadership experience and demonstrated associated skills
•    Experience of working in a middle or senior leadership position
•    Experience of coaching or mentoring staff
•    Experience of developing and delivering whole staff professional learning 
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, which promote positive relationships
•    Well-developed written and oral communication skills 
•    Excellent organisational and time-management skills. 
 

Desirable
The successful applicant will have:
•    Proven experience of working in a similar role.
