SOCIAL WORKER

Position Details
Christ the King is a double stream Catholic Primary School with classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 and a wonderful, vibrant Additional Needs Learning Support Centre. The school is situated 6 kilometres from the Fremantle harbour and 1 minute from the heart of Fremantle. Our school is set in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees and family homes. The School enjoys a close relationship with the Parish and the strong support of the parent community. Together with a comprehensive academic curriculum, Christ the King places strong emphasis on community and on excellence in teaching and learning.

Selection Criteria
Applicants should provide examples of how they have demonstrated the following criteria in previous or current position within their application:
•Partnering with students, families and key staff to enhance student well-being.
•Creating and designing well-being presentations to support and upskill the school community.
•Adhering to policy and procedure in the delivery of student support services.
•Prioritising and advocating for the well-being of students; prioritising a culture of child safety with the School and consistently applying the principles and practices of the CEWA Childsafe Framework.
•Working in collaboration with key stakeholders to develop and facilitate preventative programs; exploring, networking and enhancing relations with internal parties and external organisations to support the delivery of programs.
