Position Details
Christ the King is a double stream Catholic Primary School with classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 and a wonderful, vibrant Additional Needs Learning Support Centre. The school is situated 6 kilometres from the Fremantle harbour and 1 minute from the heart of Fremantle. Our school is set in a beautiful setting surrounded by trees and family homes. The School enjoys a close relationship with the Parish and the strong support of the parent community. Together with a comprehensive academic curriculum, Christ the King places strong emphasis on community and on excellence in teaching and learning.
There is a strong possibility this position will become an ongoing position.
Selection Criteria
• Must be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties;
• Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who demonstrates a willingness to collaborate with all staff as part of a professional learning community;
• A comprehensive knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning;
• Knowledge and experience of the National Quality Standard;
• Demonstrates the ability to use data to inform practice based on evidence-based research;
• Knowledge and use of high impact strategies in their teaching practice;
