About the role

An exciting opportunity currently exists within the Mackay Region. We are seeking a part-time counsellor who will provide counselling services to students at Catherine McAuley College, Mackay. This is a part-time continuing position for 19 hours per week, commencing January 2027.

The College Counsellor has a focus on fostering the development and mental health of all students. This is achieved by applying counselling skills and engaging in individual and group interventions. The College Counsellor is a certified professional who works in partnership with the schools by contributing specialised knowledge and skills in a collaborative manner.
