Role description


This is a 33 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 4, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency

The Role

In collaboration with the Principal and other members of the administrative team, the Deputy Principal provides educational leadership in the college and the community by helping develop and promote the college values, ethos and priorities, and encouraging staff, volunteers from the community and others to share ownership of the college vision and goals.

The successful applicant would contribute to the College Plan through participative decision-making, policy development, and system establishment. As Deputy Principal, the role may include;

  • Leadership responsibility for performance management, LA Planning, leadership and direct management of Student Services, and College operations
  • Management of enrolments, student welfare, academic monitoring and positive behaviour Years 7, 8 and 9.
  • Leading the development and implementation of the Pastoral Care program
  • Working in partnership with local intake primary schools on a range of strategic and operational matters including the primary transition program
