Role description


This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2026

Bicton Primary School (PS) is located in the established suburb of Bicton, 6km east of Fremantle, near the beautiful Swan River. The school was opened in 1904. As an independent school, we aim to provide an educational program of the highest standard. The Role

The School Officer plays a critical role to support the Manager Corporate Services with administering financial resources of the school including account and GST coding, reconciliations, and invoice processing.  School Officers also assist with month-end procedures such as transporting receipts to the bank and maintaining data integrity. They will be responsible for collating figures for financial planning and budgeting, which will help the school make informed decisions about its resources.

In addition to financial management, the School Officer will also assist with the management of school assets. This includes overseeing the administration of out-of-hours use of school facilities, coordinating and negotiating maintenance and repairs, and maintaining key registers and security system codes.
