Role description
The Inclusion and Intervention Leader will lead the coordination and implementation of intervention and inclusion programs across Reception to Year 6, ensuring all students can access and succeed in their learning. This role involves working collaboratively with teachers, SSOs, leaders, and external agencies to identify, plan, and monitor targeted support for students with additional learning needs. The Inclusion and Intervention Leader will work closely with Aboriginal students and families, as well as other cultural groups, to ensure culturally responsive and equitable practices are embedded throughout the school. The role also guides the development and review of One Plans, NCCD documentation, and other personalised learning plans. Building staff capacity in inclusive education, differentiation, and evidence-based interventions through coaching, professional development, and collaborative work is a key aspect of the position. Other duties may be assigned by the principal as required.
