Role description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Assistants - Special Needs for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
As Special Needs Education Assistants, suitable applicants will, under teacher direction, assist with educational programs and promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Education assistants will assist teachers in delivering planned education programs to help students reach their full potential by developing their academic, social, emotional, and physical skills, including computer and digital technology operations. Within this role, suitable applicants would provide feedback when required on education and therapy programs and participate in the evaluation process relating to the achievement of goals in special education.
