Role description


This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2026

Darlington Primary School has a long tradition of providing a quality education to students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

The Role

As an Education Assistant - Special Needs you will ideally employ excellent communication skills to work in collaboration with teachers and external agencies as part of a team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The successful applicant should ideally be flexible and experienced in supporting needs of students with self-regulation of behaviour and social and emotional responses. Experience in using a variety of strategies to develop communication and socialisation skills is desirable.

A knowledge of and experience working with students with various learning disabilities and Certificate 4 in Education Support or similar is desirable.
