St Laurence's College is a Catholic School in the Edmund Rice Tradition, with an enrolment of over 2,000 boys from Years 5 to 12.
Applications are invited for the full-time Middle Leadership Position of Assistant Head of Sport - Communications and Community, commencing Tuesday, 6 October 2026 (but can be negotiated with the successful candidate).
The Assistant Head of Sport - Communications and Community assists the Head of Sport and other key College Sports Department staff in the administration, leadership and communications of the co-curricular sports program at the College. The Assistant Head of Sport - Communications and Community will also assist the Head of Sport continue to cultivate key partnerships between the College and external sporting clubs, agencies and organisations that benefit the sporting experience of students at the College.
The Assistant Head of Sport - Communications and Community will be a qualified teacher (with current QCT registration) and allocated a teaching load and remuneration reflective of a Tiered Middle Leadership Position reflected by the Catholic Employers Single Enterprise Collective Agreement - Religious Institute School of Queensland 2023-2026. The candidate requires excellent communication, a high level of initiative, administrative, organisational and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
