We’re seeking a skilled Employment Relations Specialist to join our Employment Relations team on a temporary full time basis until September 2027 (parental leave contract). In this dynamic and varied role, you will work closely with both our schools and Catholic Schools office employees, providing advice on all aspects of employment and industrial relations (ER/IR) across the employee lifecycle as required. 

This role will report directly to the Employment Relations Manager, and provides an outstanding opportunity to work in a busy and friendly team environment, delivering high standards and timely outcomes for our organisation. This would suit an ER professional who enjoys being a trusted partner to the business, helping leaders navigate challenging and sensitive situations, and making a meaningful impact.   

We are working on a hybrid model with the flexibility of working 50% split between our Parramatta office and working from home.

Key Responsibilities

The variety of your role will include:

  • Partnering with and supporting stakeholders by providing professional ER/IR advice on a range of matters, including discrimination, harassment, bullying, employment terms and conditions, complaint management, policy interpretation and legislative interpretation
