Selection Criteria
SC1: Demonstrated Experience in Human Resources Administration
Demonstrated experience in coordinating and administering a broad range of human resource functions, including recruitment and selection processes, onboarding, employment contracts, payroll-related administration, maintenance of staff records, and ensuring compliance with Department of Education policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
SC2: Demonstrated Organisational and Administrative Skills
Highly developed organisational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to effectively manage competing priorities, maintain accurate and comprehensive records, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
SC3: Demonstrated Knowledge of Confidentiality, Compliance and HR Systems
Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality, privacy obligations and professional integrity in the management of sensitive employee information. Proven ability to ensure compliance with Department of Education policies and procedures, with experience using human resource and payroll systems such as EduPay, School Jobs Victoria, CASES21, or similar platforms is desirable.
SC4: Demonstrated Ability to Work Collaboratively and Use Initiative
Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, exercising sound judgement, initiative and problem-solving skills to address administrative challenges. Proven capacity to contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, systems and school operations while maintaining a high standard of professional service.
