Location Profile
In 2027 we will have approximately 330 students in 14 classes with 5 Specialist teachers. Our five Specialists classes are: Visual Art, Performing Arts, PE, Italian and STEM.
We pride ourselves on our caring and supportive environment and the experiences we offer to our students. Teachers and students believe they work/learn in a safe, orderly, and nurturing environment where teaching and learning is at the centre of all that we do. We value parents and community members as an essential part of the educational partnership between the students and our dedicated staff.
Korumburra Primary School serves a rapidly growing and changing community.¿ As well as our many established families, we are increasingly welcoming new families into our school community who are seeking a healthy and happy rural lifestyle - and who can blame them?¿ Our close collaboration with Karmai Community Children¿s Centre ensures that from the very beginning our children and families are well cared for and educated. Also, from the beginning families have the opportunity to connect with each other, forge friendships and strengthen our community. There is ample opportunity to help and volunteer both in classrooms and in many other ways through our parent group 'KPS Collective'. Our parents have assisted in our school in many different ways including our Mother¿s Day stall and Sports Days.
