Location Profile

Oakleigh South Primary School is an excellent school providing a comprehensive and stimulating education for all students. Our aim is to continuously improve student learning through a consistent approach to Teaching and Learning. Our core focus is on Literacy, Numeracy, Music, Sport and Sustainability.

We have high expectations of all our students and we believe that whatever we do, we do well. All teachers are expected to develop their proficiency in ICT, thinking curriculum, student engagement, wellbeing and differentiated learning.

All staff are encouraged to assist with our musical productions, sport, camps, fete and our many other extracurricular activities that support and develop the whole child.

Our projected enrolment for 2026 is approximately 1030 students with 45 classes.

Our families are from a diverse background with an increasing proportion from a language background other than English.
