Location Profile

Truganina South Primary School is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) development in the Wyndham North network area that opened in 2011. The school caters for all year levels from P-6 and has a current student enrolment of approximately 540 students., with grades arranged in straight year levels.  The school is located on Parkvista Drive and Federation Boulevard Truganina South and the majority of the students are drawn from the local area.

The state-of-the-art facility provides critical infrastructure that brings together the best in contemporary educational design and promotes active student-centred learning through the creation of flexible, functional spaces.

Truganina South Primary School has a highly experienced and committed school leadership team comprising of the Principal, 2 x Assistant Principals, Leading Teachers (2 x Curriculum & Assessment and 2 x Wellbeing and Inclusion). The school undertook a school review in late 2024 and is in the second year of its strategic plan implementation.

At Truganina South Primary School, the child is at the centre and purpose of all that we do. All teachers and students work in home groups, to support the development of strong student-teacher relationships. The school has a large classroom education support staffing profile, with a staff member in most learning spaces to provide targeted support to students.
