Role description

We are currently seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Science teacher to join our secondary teaching team from Term 4, 2026. The successful candidate must have a commitment to academic excellence and be able to demonstrate their capacity to deliver a rigorous academic program.
Success Criteria:
The successful applicant will:
- Be able to contribute to the strong academic culture of the school environment
- Identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs
- Use relevant technology to support instruction
- Observe and evaluate student's performance and development
- Be willing to use student data effectively to inform teaching practice
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs
- Undertake other duties as required by the Head of College or her delegate
The successful candidate will possess the following core competencies:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Education and Science.
- NESA Accreditation and eligibility to teach in New South Wales.
- A strong understanding of evidence-based teaching practice and curriculum differentiation.
