Role description

St Joseph’s School, Clare, is seeking a passionate, dedicated Middle School educator to join our school community.

The Opportunity

This is a contracted, full-time 1.0FTE teaching position, commencing at the beginning of the 2027 school year until the end of 2027. If you have a passion for some (or all) of the following curriculum areas, we would love to hear from you!

The role requires a committed educator who values collaboration and demonstrates flexibility in a small school setting. We seek an individual who contributes to the vibrant culture of our school, with a willingness to undertake additional training as needed..

You Will:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of current Middle School (7-9) Pedagogy
  • Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity, faith formation and Josephite Charism of the school and parish community
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of curricula
  • Able to design and creatively implement inclusive learning programs which meet the needs of all students, with a high emphasis on student engagement and success
  • Plan, teach and assess authentic and differentiated learning experiences using the Australian Curriculum
  • Be familiar with emerging information and communication technologies and be willing to integrate ICTs across the curriculum to support student learning
  • Promote student personal responsibility through an ability to make children's learning fun and enjoyable
  • Develop positive relationships with students, staff and parents
